Welcome to our long awaited online collection of recipes all featured in previous newsletters and using our certified organic produce and grocery products. Some are totally unique creations by one of our avid cooks on staff, others are adaptations of creations by famous chefs and the rest are simply tried and tested recipes that deliver great results everytime.

We take inspiration from some very good (and indispensable) cookbooks and reference books - on the shelves at FDO you'll find Deborah Madison's Vegetarian Cooking For Everyone as well as her earlier book, The Savory Way; Elizabeth Schneider's Uncommon Fruits and Vegetables A Common Sense Guide; Simply In Season compiled by Mary Beth Lind and Cathleen Hockman-Wert; Mollie Katzen's Moosewood Cookbook; Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking; and others. All sources are acknowledged and all recipes have been made by someone here.
