At Front Door Organics, cultivating enduring relationships with our farmers has always been one of our highest priorities - and it shows! We work hard to support Ontario organic farmers by including as much locally grown produce as possible in each Fresh Box™ as well as promoting local buying preferences through our Go Ontario! Front Door Organics has been in business since 1997 and since then have built strong relationships with many local farms and distributors. We often work closely with specific farms in planning the upcoming Ontario growing season.

Communication, crop planning and buying commitments are some of the ways we invest in local agriculture. We also support Ontario organic farmers’ right to fair wages and working conditions. Front Door Organics always pays the farmer on time and at the prices they see as fair for their products.

Warren Ham runs August's Harvest in Stratford, Ontario. He has been known primarliy for his amazing garlic and shallots, but recently has expanded his farm and farming adventures to include everything from peas to pears.

John Wilson helms Dolway Organic Garden, just outside of London, Ontario. His farm is in the picturesque Thames Valley and even has the original 19th century farm house maintained as a summer cottage! John's produce is pristine and at FDO it is always a delight to get his fresh deliveries.

Lorenz Eppinger runs Greenfields in Campbellville, and has been farming organics since 1985. His family-run farm is relatively small (15 acres) and situated close to Toronto in the Greenbelt. Lorenz is well-known around Toronto markets for his top-notch organic produce.
