How to order a Go Ontario! Fresh Box™.
At FDO we want to support our local organic farmers and reward our customers who exercise local buying preferences. Behold, the Go Ontario! $5 Discount - customize your next Custom Fresh Box™ to contain only Ontario grown produce and you can add a $5 discount to your order. Here's how it's done:
  1. Log in and select "Shop/Check My Current Order" from the My Account menu.
  2. If you have a Basic Fresh Box™, click the arrow to switch it to a Custom, then click the 'X' to remove all items that are not from Ontario.
  3. Use the drop down menus at the bottom of the 'Fresh Box' page to add only Ontario grown items into your Fresh Box™.
  4. When the Fresh Box™ is FULL, click next and visit the 'Add-Ons' tab. In the Monthly Specials category, select "Go Ontario! $5 Discount", add it to your order, purchase anything else you need (including any produce that isn't grown in Ontario) and then click 'Submit'.

**Things to note are:

  • *All produce grown in Ontario is labelled 'ON'.

  • *The $5 discount will be applied by our staff after your deadline and won't automatically display in your online account balance. Yep, we're checking! So, any order with a Fresh Box™ that does not contain only Ontario grown produce will have the discount removed.

  • *If you don't put the discount item on your order, we won't know your box has all Ontario produce and so the discount won't be applied.

  • *Any origin of produce can be purchased in the Add-Ons tab.

  • *Orders using a Groupon voucher will not be eligible for the Go Ontario! $5 Discount (but please do look for ON when you are customizing your box).


You will receive a confirmation email within the next half an hour after clicking submit - please review it to be sure your order is correct. Your credit card will be charged on the day of delivery and you will receive a copy of your invoice the day before the delivery (or Monday morning for Monday customers) as well as in your Fresh Box™. All discounts and amounts owing will be clearly outlined on the invoice.
